I have a large bust so while I am solidly a LARGE - 10 I sized up out of fear the bust would be too tight. (and also, the pattern I wanted was sold out in L). Turns out, there's ample room. They are true to size. But, it doesn't matter if there's extra room because the garment is so customizable. The print, the pattern, the possibilities-- all so fun. I can't wait to wear this out!

This is my first time buying myself a very well-made piece of slower fashion, and I'm so satisfied! It is so beautifully constructed and the fabric is thin but comfortable and sturdy feeling. Not to mention I get compliments left and right when wearing this out. I felt the sizing was very accurate, and I ended up ordering a Large. For context, I typically wear M or L and my measurements are 36b31w44h and I'm 5'2". The inseam is maybe an inch or two longer than I normally wear my pants, but that's to be expected for my height. This is the first romper I've worn since having kids (7 years ago!), but the way the tie lays, it's the first one I can say actually looks great! I went out on a date night with it and got lots of compliments. I do wish there was a liner, as the fabric, although beautiful, feels thin. I've been wearing skin-tone undies with it just in case. A seam also ripped when I twisted my body too much, but the belt hides it. I also wish the buttons were fake with a zipper or something instead, as the buttons in addition to the tie do make going to the bathroom more difficult. Will that stop me from wearing it regularly? Absolutely not. We need designers who think outside the box and create colorful, unique things that enhance beauty, rather than detract, and these clothes are all that. Created by a woman, for women, and it shows. Pockets are deep enough for my massive phone, it snatches the waist, AND is super comfy.

I'm also a huge fan that its machine washable rather than needing to be dry cleaned. For reference, I'm 5 ft tall and typically a medium/UK size 12-14 but based on other reviews I ordered the small which was perfect; I think a medium would have been a bit too baggy. I did need to roll up the bottoms a bit but that's true with pretty much every jumpsuit I've ever purchased due to my height.

I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger and bought one of these super flattering jumpers! I disregarded the reminders from others that this definitely fits looser.
Overall, it works fine for me. I definitely have more room in the top and I don't mind it. I have broad shoulders and am often frustrated by how tight and constricted most large/extra large tops still make my DDs feel. Not the case here! The tie around the waist allows a really flattering cinching to still happen. The bottoms portion are baggier and, again, not a problem. Not loose to the point of it being unflattering, IMO. :)
All this being said, if you want a more fitted look, I believe you can easily afford to size down and will be fine.
